I
spent 20 years as a senior correspondent with Reuters-Press Association, the international wire service, traveling the world on assignments and in 1988 I founded Mediawise in London offering writing services to companies, PR firms and the media. With three colleagues I also co-founded and edited Footloose, an outdoor activity magazine, which was the market leader for almost ten years.
In 1994 I relocated to Florida where I still live and work. I have had more than 5,000 articles published in magainzes and newspapers worldwide and have written 55 books - mostly on travel, wine, food, diet and health. I have also had hundreds of photographs published in magazines and travel guide books.
My latest book , The Trailside Cookbook - Gourmet Cooking for Campers - was co-authored with my wife Pam.
I am the editor and author of the successful Landmark Visitor's Guides to Florida and the Caribbean which now has 22 titles in the series covering all the major destinations in the Sunshine State and the Caribbean.
I now specialize in writing about all aspects of life in Florida and the Caribbean.
